CREATIVE PROCESS
Eros Renzetti (1965), is an artist with his own visual imagery, also built up over years of apprenticeship with two of the best-known visionary artists of the post World War II period, Leonor Fini (1907-1996) and Fabrizio Clerici (1913-1993), his masters.
After the first ‘expressionist’ experiments at the end of the 1970s, his imagery, from the 1990s to the present day, focuses on fantastic figuration, with characters that appear hieratic in a theatrical and metaphysical context, bizarre, strange and eccentric.
Quotations from the world of theatre, fashion, glamour photography and even the latest queer phenomena are clearly visible in his works.
